ARC Raiders Loadout Planning With U4N for Final Pre-Expedition Raids

The final pre-expedition raids are a good time to stop treating every deployment as a simple loot run. With the Frozen Trail expansion expected on October 8, 2026, players have a clear reason to make their remaining runs count. Building around useful weapons, sensible armor, and enough inventory space can make a bigger difference than simply carrying the most expensive equipment. Players who have also been collecting ARC Raiders BluePrints should think about which weapons they can consistently maintain rather than wasting resources on setups that are difficult to replace.

ARC Raiders BluePrints can influence how players approach their preparation, but weapon selection still comes down to the situation. A squad fighting heavy ARC machines needs different tools from a solo Raider looking for a quick extraction. After several types of runs, three loadout styles make the most sense: an all-purpose PvE and PvP setup, an ARC-focused farming build, and a lightweight solo configuration.

Building Around the Bettina

The Bettina assault rifle is a dependable choice when you do not know what the raid will throw at you. Its stability makes it comfortable during longer fights, while its armor penetration gives it enough power to deal with ARC plating. It also remains useful when another Raider appears, which is important because a PvE encounter can quickly turn into a PvP fight.

For a secondary weapon, the Anvil hand cannon provides something the Bettina does not: immediate burst damage. Rather than using it for every target, keep it ready for situations where one powerful shot can change the fight. It can put serious pressure on enemy shields and is also useful for damaging important components on heavier ARC machines.

An Extended Magazine on the Bettina is a practical attachment because reloads can become dangerous when several enemies are nearby. A Compensator on the Anvil can also make its shots easier to control.

When Farming ARC Materials

Players focused on workbench upgrades or rare materials may want a more specialized setup. The Renegade battle rifle is well suited to this role because it performs strongly at medium and long distances and can target weak points without forcing you into close combat.

The Hullcracker launcher then becomes the heavy option. It is designed for quickly breaking armor on larger targets, making it especially useful when facing powerful machines such as Queens, Matriarchs, and Turbine bosses.

Trailblazer grenades fit naturally into this setup. Their gas damage can stack, giving players another way to pressure heavily armored targets. Throwing several into a difficult encounter before following up with the Hullcracker can shorten the fight and reduce the amount of ammunition needed.

This build is not necessarily the best choice for every raid. Heavy weapons and explosives consume valuable inventory space, so players need to decide whether the extra damage is worth carrying less loot.

A Safer Solo Approach

Solo players have to think differently because there is no teammate available to revive them. A lightweight setup built around the Ferro battle rifle can be a much more sensible option when the goal is simply to enter, collect materials, and leave.

The Ferro provides useful armor penetration at range while keeping crafting and upkeep relatively affordable. That makes failed runs less painful and allows players to deploy more frequently.

For close-range emergencies, the Burletta pistol works well because of its agility and quick handling. The Stitcher SMG is another option for players who prefer greater close-range firepower. Either choice gives a solo player an answer when a Raider suddenly pushes into their position.

The Looting Mk. 3 Survivor Augment is also worth considering. Extra backpack capacity is particularly valuable when every slot matters, while its down-state regeneration can provide a little more room to recover from a mistake.

Manage Your Inventory Carefully

A good weapon setup can still fail if the backpack is filled with unnecessary supplies. For a typical 12-to-15-minute run, a Blue Medium Shield is a practical balance between protection and weight. Carrying three to five Shield Rechargers should give most players enough flexibility without consuming too much space.

Healing supplies should follow the same principle. Vita Spray or Herbal Bandages can handle routine recovery, while Vita Shots are better kept for moments when you need a faster burst of healing after losing your shield.

Ammunition is another area where players commonly overprepare. Two full stacks for each weapon type are a reasonable starting point, although the exact amount depends on the weapons being used and the expected targets. Carrying excessive ammunition only reduces the space available for valuable materials.

Choose Survival Over Ego

The strongest loadout is not necessarily the one with the highest theoretical damage. During final preparation runs, consistency matters more. A Bettina and Anvil combination gives squads a dependable answer to mixed encounters, while Renegade and Hullcracker are better suited to dedicated ARC farming. Solo players can reduce their exposure with Ferro and a lightweight sidearm.

Before each deployment, decide what you actually want from the raid. If the goal is material farming, prioritize armor-breaking weapons and backpack space. If valuable loot needs to survive an extraction, keep enough defensive supplies to handle an unexpected fight. Players who want to expand their preparation options can also choose to buy ARC Items when they need additional gear for upcoming runs, allowing them to spend more time focusing on successful extractions rather than rebuilding every failed loadout.
